CustomersDigital marketingMarketing strategy

How will your marketing strategy change in our brave new world?

Things are not the same as they used to be, are they?

Change is in the air.

Consumers have had their lives turned upside down.

Many businesses will not survive.

There is less wealth than there was at the start of 2020.

Stock markets have fallen and so has the value of property.

Twitter has just announced that all of its staff can work at home, forever.

According to the BBC, ‘the social media giant said its work-from-home measures during the lockdown had been a success.’

With regards to marketing, enterprises and brands that ‘get digital’ are more likely to survive and thrive.

Having a website and a social media account or two won’t lift you off the runway.

The business owner or the board of directors have to understand the profound changes that are happening all around them.

The answer is to rethink your strategy.

Begin with customer segments.

What do they need now?

How has their situation changed in 2020?

How can you change your products / services to serve them better?

You are not facing a gentle shift.

Time is not on your side.

How can your enterprise change in order to survive and thrive in the brave new world that we are all facing?
