Anthropic has launched Claude Fable 5: a Mythos-class1 model that they have made safe for general use. This is relevant to marketers who are adopting agentic AI in their workflows.
According to Anthropic: “Fable 5’s capabilities exceed those of any model we’ve ever made generally available. It is state-of-the-art on nearly all tested benchmarks of AI capability, showing exceptional performance in software engineering, knowledge work, vision, scientific research and other areas. The longer and more complex the task, the larger Fable 5’s lead over our other models.” https://www.anthropic.com/news/claude-fable-5-mythos-5
Simon Willison commented: “My initial impressions are that this is something of a beast. It’s slow, expensive and has been quite happily churning through everything I’ve thrown at it so far. As is frequently the case with current frontier models the challenge is finding tasks that it can’t do.” https://simonwillison.net/2026/Jun/9/claude-fable-5
It is challenging to keep up with all of these new LLM models, isn’t it?
