How to use Temperature in ChatGPT

By January 31st, 2024No Comments

‘Temperature’ controls the creativity or randomness of text within ChatGPT.

It is a term that you can include when you write a Prompt (i.e. a question or command).

A higher temperature, for example 0.8 creates a more creative output.

On the other hand a lower temperature, for example 0.2 makes the output more focused / conservative.

It is included in the Prompt like this… Temperature 0.8

Have you tried using ChatGPT? Or are you a regular user? What do you think of it?
