Three ways to make your copy more engaging

By January 12th, 2023No Comments

When you write, engage the reader’s senses. You can do this by using visual words such as imagine, visualise, see and picture this.

Describe physical products in detail and include colours. If you are marketing a service, describe how the service is used by using visual words.

For example: “We look forward to seeing you.” “I look forward to seeing you, when we meet. “We will see each other via Zoom.” “You will see our written report within seven days.”

Secondly, describe your products or services using sound based words. What does the customer hear when they are engaging with your products or services?

Thirdly, include feelings based words. How do customers feel about your product or service? Do they feel excited, happy or confident?

If you use visual, sound and feelings based words in your marketing copy, you will get better results.
