Is it OK to write a short blog?

By July 8th, 2021No Comments

During my marketing workshops, we often talk about word length within web pages and blog entries.

“How many words should I write for a blog” someone asks.

My response is that 400 words is a good target to aim at, however, success often lies with a much higher word count i.e. 1000 or even 2000+ words.

However, there is nothing wrong with writing a short blog.

After all, when someone looks at your blogs, you want them to see something that you have posted recently, don’t you?

In addition, every time you publish a blog it helps to keep the search engines happy.

What is more, you can link from a short blog to longer ones that you wrote previously.
