advertising in the street

People are better at remembering images (faces, logos etc) than words.

This is why it can be difficult to put a name to a face.

The text ads that appear when you use Google search are Google AdWords ads. As they are text only, there is no logo or image.

On the other hand, the Google Display Network (GDN) allows you to upload banner ads.

GDN runs on circa 2 million participating websites, as well as some 650,000 apps.

The advantage is that people get to see your logo + headline without clicking.

Show me the successful product and I will show you the advertising campaign.
