The question is, are you prepared?

From a marketing perspective, most customers don’t really want to talk to a salesperson.

Instead, they search online.

They read online reviews.

They watch YouTube videos about the product, service or company.

You are not there?

Then they consume your competitor’s content.

Customers are not prepared to wait.

If you don’t respond to emails, chat questions, YouTube comments and other forms of messaging quickly, this is a negative message right from the start, isn’t it?

If you fail to reply at all, you are history.

You need to be plugged in, switched on and ‘fast turnaround’.

It helps if you like to communicate (not everyone does).

It also helps if you can write well and write quickly.

Be positive. Be open. Be out there.
